These are suggestions for you to explore Croatia on your own either prior or after the camp.
Plitvice Lakes
One of Croatia's most iconic and stunning natural and Unesco recognized attractions.
Its stunning lakes, waterfalls, and lush landscapes continue to captivate visitors worldwide.
It is a 2 hour car ride from Zagreb.
Split
Split is a wonderful town to visit. Its old town offers lively cafes, a scenic seafront promenade called Riva, charming restaurants serving delicious food & beautiful beaches.
It is a 3.5 hour car ride from Zagreb and a has major Airport you can depart to and/or home from (SPU).
Opatija
Opatija is a coastal town on the Adriatic Sea. A fashionable resort in the 19th century, it's dotted with Habsburg-era villas. The Lungomare is a promenade that snakes along the coastline, offering views of the town and neighboring islands.
It is a 2 hour car ride from Zagreb.
Zagreb Hotels
It is up to you whether you wish to stay close to the venue (Novi Zagreb Area), or somewhere in the center to also experience more of the city.

Novi Zagreb – Best for budget travelers. This area has evolved from a residential district to an area with shopping malls, cafes, and budget-friendly accommodations.
Jarun – Ideal for families with children. Known for Lake Jarun and its recreational facilities, it offers a peaceful environment with easy access to the city center.
Maksimir – A tranquil urban oasis suitable for all visitors. Famous for Maksimir Park and Zagreb Zoo, it offers a mix of modern apartments and luxury suites.
